Berlin's first Micro Smart Grid

Berlin's in this form first smart grid system (Micro Smart Grid)was put into operation at the site of the old Gasometer in Berlin-Schöneberg. This nationwide unique project  has the objective to test and demonstrate the capability of smart grids in Berlin.

Energetic reconstruction and Building protection for the Housing complex "Reichsforschungssiedlung Haselhorst"

GEWOBAG developed a building protection concept for the housing complex "Haselhorst", which archived the original materials and colors and at the same time pointed out new approaches for dealing with the existing building stock.

Carbon dioxid reduction by Waste Burning

Since the calorific value of the waste in Berlin nearly equals the amount of brown coal, 2800,000 tons of CO2 emissions will be avoided annually.
