The BIK's project database contains practical examples from Berlin which contribute to an increase in energy efficiency, reduce the end consumption of energy or demonstrate the use of renewable energies. The intention behind the presentation of the climate protection projects is for them to act as models in the developments by further parties in these fields. Best practice examples are shown, intended to motivate other initiators to become active in the protection of the climate and the environment, and thus to support the city state's climate protection targets.
Systematic Presentation

Kinds of Projects
A differentiation is made in the database entries on the basis of their approaches, and they are also categorised in terms of the specific kinds of measures and so on, e.g. strategic and conceptual measures, construction and technical projects, or campaigns.
